IVF fertility treatments

Hello Ladies,
I have PCOS and am currently trying to conceive my 3rd child. I don't know if this is the group to post so I apologize in advance.
I have done 4 unsuccessful IUI treatments, and 1 unsuccessful IVF treatment. I am on course to do another one. I have been taking AndroGel for the last month (testosterone) and am supposed to start my 2nd IVF cycle when I have my period. I am on day 39 and still nothing. I spoke with my nurse / Dr from the fertility clinic (Canada) Bloods and U/S show low hormone levels and a thin uterine lining. It's as if I've had my period without all the mess. (yay?)
So the Dr has said I can go ahead with my IVF cycle starting Friday.
My question: (my dh's actually) Does a missed period or not starting on day 1 increase / decrease success rate of In Vitro Fertilitization?
Any advice is appreciated.
