Hey folks!
I just started IP, I am down albs in the first week. Being a stay at home mom, my budget is pretty tight. My coach recommended alternative food products to help keep my cost down so I can still do the program. I was hoping, to find some alternative products which I don't have to order online, does anyone have any suggestions or experience with alternative products in phase 1?
This is what my coach provided:
www.nashuanutrition.com : Brands- Proti-thin, Proti-diet, Weight loss systems, and health Smart
Or
from stores- pure protein bars (small only), Atkins products, and EAS carb control
However they must meet all of the following criteria:
Atleast 12+grams of protein
70-160 Calories
Unrestricted is 8 or less net carbs
30% or less Calories from Fat
No aspartame
Any advice, experience, or information you could share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Quest makes some really good protein bars. I like the double chocolate chunk - 160 cals, 6 grams fat, 3 net carbs, 20 grams of protein, and 17 grams of fiber. You can get them at GNC or order them online (questproteinbar.com). At GNC, they're selling them for a buy one get one 1/2 off price. Most of their bars are high protein and low fat/carbs and the fiber is isomalto-oligosaccharides, a pre-biotic fiber that's also a sweetener. And they have bars that have 5 grams of fat, like the chocolate peanut butter.0

Also, Premier Protein shakes. The chocolate ones have 160 calories, 3 grams of fat, 2 net carbs, and 30 grams of protein. You can get them at Sam's, Costco, and some Walmarts or order them online (premierprotein.com). Amazon sells them too.0
