Good Morning
The weekend has arrived, its ususally where I don't do so well with my food choices. Evenings, that is. I have had a very good week and I do no want to mess that up. We may go out to supper tonight, not sure but I will hopefully be able to pick something decent.
Not sure what to do today. its between a run, stairclimber or Jillian workout. I do feel my legs and all the squats/lunges I've been doing. Its suppose to rain by noon so if its a run it will have to be soon!0 -
Really good threadstarter! I think we've all felt that before.
Maureen, have a good workout, whatever you decide and have a nice dinner out.
My stomach was feeling a bit "bleh" today, so I walked to the gym instead of running. Oh! Also, on my way there I FINALLY found the item that lil girl and I was shopping for all over the place the other day. I knew one place to buy it, but the place was *always* closed...until a brief moment when I passed by today. Yay! Anyway, did a nice upper body workout at the gym and walked back. Still keeping pretty good with my eating/calories, so very hopeful for some fat loss this month, even though I feel very squishy (feels so much more noticeable the closer Summer gets).
Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend so far!0 -
Stairclimber it was....35 mins and then some upper body weights.0

Was feeling energetic today, so I got in all that I had planned. This morning was a 5k race that went pretty well. I didn't get lost and I ended up in the middle of the pack rather than last. Then it got overcast and drizzly so I got out and did a 4 mile run this afternoon. Then with my body work stuff, a half hour, I can really eat today!0

Nice workout Maureen! Hope you get through the weekend as far as good eating choices.
Sherry "squishy" pretty much sums up how I'm feeling right now too. Not sure why, but as soon as I read your comment I thought Yes! That's it. Hope your stomach settles down.
Donna you're a rockstar. Wow that's a lot of working out in one day!
Jason gave me the option to run anywhere between 6.2 - 8 miles, depending on how my body felt, because it's my recovery week for my long run (13 miles last weekend & 12 miles next weekend). I can usually get away with running 10K without having to bring fuels/fluids but I need something extra to run 8 miles. Did not bring water or fuel with me but brought cash & picked a route where I could have stopped at a convenience store to get a drink if I felt like I wanted to run 8...but I really didn't feel like it. The final mile I was hot & thirsty so I regretted not bringing at least my small water bottle that has the hand strap so it's fairly easy to carry. Next time. I did stop at the store & get a water to drink on my walk home, which was just over half a mile and mostly uphill.0 -

Laura, y'know I was going round and round about what to do for fuel (tried gummies for awhile), that is, until I started to take little walk breaks and now I don't even think about it any more. I've learned, at least for me, there are different feelings--like if I feel sluggish & slow & sloppy, I need water (which I carry with me, usu don't need til about 4mi), if I feel like my legs are made of lead or start to feel like "Omg Sherry, you are sooo out of shape, you can't move another step", that means I need fuel and I can take a very short walk break and give my body a chance to breakdown some fat and when it hits the system I'm all revved up again and am moving faster than before. But, with all that said, in the city there's a place to stop for water, powerade, juice, banana, or whatever on every corner (so to speak)--so I'm pretty lucky.0
