Good Morning! And Happy Belated Mothers Day!

I'm sorry I didn't make it on to post yesterday. Had a good Mothers Day. Had my mom Dad and sister over for lunch, we usually go to moms for lunch on sunday but I had her over here instead. So, had 8 at my table at noontime. But, it was just BBQ so pretty easy. Then we went to visit my mil in the afternoon. Just kind of lazed around after that and read my book. I took the day off from exercise,

Today I am working at noon, so will get my exercise in this morning if I can. If not, I am thinking that a walk or run after supper will be it. The sun is out and its looking like a gorgeous day.

Good Morning all. Yesterday was a flyball tournament and the rest of the day was filled with errands. Finally got a run in, late in the day. Today will be work, pack, run, and trainer homework. Looks like I'll have two rest day this week, Wednesday (maybe partial) and Thursday (not going to be able to get much of any done).

I know I did this threadstarter, but it turns out to be perfect for me today.

After a beautiful weekend it's back to raining & high temps in the 40's. But I enjoyed my time outside this weekend and it's okay if it rains today while I'm at the office anyway, especially since I'm not scheduled to run. I have a Jason session after work. He's been pretty easy on me lately so if it looks like a light workout again I'm going to have to start bullying him into pushing me harder.

Hi, finally here, so busy the last two weeks and I am not home until a week from Wednesday.

I have been doing a ton of walks, from 2-5 miles. Did a nia class in both Portland OR and Sebastopol CA.

Walked this morning 2 1/2 miles. Cutting down on carbs naturally I can't believe it, I normally gain I am not even trying to lose and I think I am either the same or lost a few pounds.

So much going on here with friends and family! Today is my first day alone at cousins house, rest of trip busy with more friends and family. Will try to check in.

Hey everybody! Hi Marla, glad you've been having a good trip.

Today I lugged both kids to the tutor while DH worked and then he picked up lil girl and I ran to the "other" gym (which I've run to, but never been inside before). I like the run, which was about 25min, very hilly and residential, so I stayed off the main streets which are poor and ran in the neighborhood streets. The gym is big and full of amenities (spa: massage, facials, sauna, hairdresser, fit test, vibe machines, etc etc), but unfortunately the child-minding is only open in the evenings, so it won't really help me while my husband is away (he leaves Fri for 10 days). And frankly, I don't like it so much. I don't need any of those amenities and it's so big that the cable machines are nowhere near the rest of the equipment and I don't want to be trekking back and forth between areas. it was also busy and well....no familiar faces, which I look forward to at my old place. Anyway, did a much better leg workout today and then ran back. Calories are still being kept under control, which makes me very happy (srsly, if I don't see some fat loss this month I'm gonna scream!)

Good to see everyone sticking with it, staying active, doing workouts, and doing trainer homework--even through all the stuff life throws. This group really keeps me revved up.:flowerforyou:
