over 100 lbs to lose?

Anybody here with over 100 lbs to lose? Any words of advice from those who have lost that much? Just starting and 1000 calories a day seems A little daunting!

1000 cals was too low for me - I have upped to 1200 - 1300 and feel much better here - I am very active so I need the calories. I haven't lost any weight - long story....I am being very strict the next 4 weeks to see if it is me

I can't do 1000 calories either. 1000-1200 works much better for me, though I am only slowly losing. Even though I work out. Everyone's bodies are different. I don't have 100 pounds to lose, but I have about 75 to lose.0

I have over 100 but seem to do okay most days with the 1000-1200. I generally shoot for the 1000, but go over if I need to to get the protein. I feel much better when I get at least 71 grams.0
