Fasting BS was 233, and phone app said I needed to go to er?

Why? I wasn't about to, I had to get to work. I know why it was high, and I'm sure it will come down. But why did my app freak out?

    Yeah, I don't think you need to go to the ER with a fasting BS of 233. But I'm not a doctor either. That's good you know why it's high and are sure it will come down. I would check my blood sugar throughout the day to see where I am at. Not sure why your app freaked out.

    Most apps give the user control of setting values for alerts and warnings. You might want to adjust your values.

    A fasting level of 233 is pretty high. You might want to talk to your doctor on what you might be able to do to control it.

    Well I did know what caused it, and it's hasn't normally been running that high.
