Hi, I am thinking of doing atkins. I have been trying to diet for months now and going to the gym but not losing. I even tried diet to go meals at home but it got too expensive. After talking with a coworker that explained the program a little bit I'm going give atkins a try.

I don't like seafood. I only eat twice a day because I work a 2nd shift schedule. Any advice on what I can eat for week 1?

    You really need to get a little information right from the source. I'd recommend at least visiting the site (http://www.atkins.com/Program/Overview.aspx) and read the overview and phase 1 pages. From there, you can see recipe suggestions and accepted food lists. It will probably whet your appetite, and as you see some success, you'll probably want to grab the book and get the whole scoop.
