Hello!
Had anyone tried OA? I'm wondering what to expect.

I have gone to OA on and off for many years.
I am currrently in fairly close contact as I am actively trying to remain stopped from compulsive over eating.
It helps as part of my regime of lifestyle changes the people there understand trying and failing and trying and whatever.
It doesn't endorse any particular way of eating and is more about emotional wellness. It is modeled on the 12 steps of Alcoholic Anonymous and really its best to go along and give it a try.

I have been in OA since 2005. There are lots of ways to attend meetings now. They can be attended in person, via internet, Skype, and telephone. OA changed my life, but everyone has to decide for themselves. If you want more information feel free to ask me or just go to www.oa.org
