I have been working on trying as hard as I can to stick to the LCHF WOE. Here is where I am...
Love frozen fruit with greek yogurt (make smoothies with them with a little bit of milk), especially for breakfast now it is almost summer
Drink green tea with lemon in it, no sweetner
Eat lots of meat, and try to get veggies in as much as possible
Now and again, eat cheese
Use butter, coconut oi, and olive oil...
I have cut out a lot of refined sugars and processed foods and trying to get my husband to eat better (he has food issues from childhood) but when we try to buy all healthy and right foods, its way out of our food budget. I guess what I am asking is.. am I missing anything and is there a cheep way to eating like this. I do have a 12 yr old son who doesnt have a weight issue and I try to have easy but healthy snacks for him.

Your friendly neighborhood super store (Costco, Sam's, etc.) can reduce the pinch on your wallet. I have actually found that when you do this diet right (High fat, low carb, moderate protein) it's actually not more expensive than a SAD WOE. I have found that reducing my protein intake has also reduced my grocery bill. When you can only eat 4 oz. of protein in a meal, that protein source lasts a lot longer. I eat a lot of canned meats from Costco (chicken, salmon, tuna). Fat sources are cheap and veggies depend on which ones you want and whether you buy organic.
BTW - Watch those frozen fruits with yogurt. That would definitely trip me up (dairy is insulogenic and some fruits are definitely trouble if you really want to be losing more quickly). If you still feel a craving for these foods it's usually a sign that you're not fully keto adapted. I have found that those cravings completely disappear once you're really "in the flow".0
