Allergies, meds, and blood sugar, oh my!

This isn't weight-loss related (sorry).
I've been having a terrible time with allergies lately and would love to take something. The problem is that I want to avoid something that will raise my blood sugar. I already have to avoid certain things because of my thyroid. What is safe to use? Just in case you need to know, I take:
Metformin (500 mg twice daily)
Lisinopril (5 mg)
Levothyroxine (125 mcg)
Any suggestions? This darn post-nasal drip is annoying. I'm so tired and haven't had the energy to workout for 4 days now. I need some relief so I can get back to my normal life!

This is one to ask your doctor. You can also go to any pharmacy website like CVS and enter your drugs in their drug interaction checker, then add different OTC allergy meds and see what pops up.0

I ended up calling the nurse's line at my doctor's office. The doctor pulled my file and called back to tell me I could take Allegra or Claritin (but not Allegra-D or Claritin-D). I've just been so miserable!0

Good. I'm glad you called and got some suggestions from your doctor. I have seasonal allergies too (when the cottonwoods bloom is my worst time) and I understand how miserable this can be..0
