Adding weight training?

Question: Since my weight loss has been stalled for two weeks, I was thinking about adding weight training to my workout schedule. I walk 3 days a week for 2.75 miles. Before going on MF I would usually swing a kettlebell 2 days a week, but frankly, I don't feel strong enough to lift that weight safely, so I was thinking about going to the gym and using the weight training machines to see if I can kick my metabolism into gear.
Anybody lifting weights on MF? Any input?
