Cardio days

Hi all,

I'm only on week 2, but looking ahead it appears that the cardio DVD doesn't change as you progress through the Burn, Push and Lean phases... is that correct? So for the whole 90 days you're supposed to do Burn Intervals, Burn It Off, Ab Intervals and Recharge? It felt like Burn Intervals and Burn It Off were very similar, so I can see myself getting bored with these every week.

I know a lot of people do Turbofire as a hybrid for the cardio, buuuutttttt..... I am definitely NOT a dancer, and have awful coordination for dance move style workouts.

Does anybody substitute a different program's cardio for the cardio days?

You are correct, the cardio is the same throughout. But you'll get better at it if you stick with it.

I am on my 3rd round of CHX. The first round I did the cardio.
Round 2 I did TF but don't like it so that was hard.
This round I'm doing MWF CHX and T/TH running (on the treadmill at work).

I also substitute P90X Cardio X... it starts with a load of yoga and is quite long.

You decide what's best for you, but I have to say I never got bored the first round, I just wanted to do the TF/CHX the second go round.

TF also has HIITS that are 10, 15, and I think 20 or 25 minutes long that work pretty good and aren't super dancy.

I hated CLX's cardio workout because I did Turbo Fire program first and it is so fast pace I couldnt stand the slower pace of CLX's cardio workout. I've got to tell you though Turbo Fire is not that dancy at all!! It's actually more like a cardio kick boxing with some really funky dance music lol. You dont need rythem and good cordination to do Turbo Fire as all. Right now I've been doing CLX/ two TF HIIT's a week, and one whole class ( Fire 30 or Fire 45) a week. But for weight loss purposes i'm going to add in either a cycling class or the treadmill starting in june.

I'm on the second week as well. I still haven't done the cardio workouts, as I was doing c210k on the treadmill. I have the firestarter pack for turbo fire and the older turbo fire. I'm just doing firestarter and the low HIIT 20 for now. I'm hoping that doing firestarter enough times will help me not feel so lost with the regular turbo fire workouts. I may do the CLX cardio workouts if I can fit them in later, once I finish c210k and figure out my schedule.

I just finished JM Body Revolution and substituted the running in for cardio there as well.
