    Hi all!

(Beautiful avatar pic Laura! Hope you have enjoyed the wedding.)

Today, I walked to the gym, did upper body workout, then went for a little run and then walked home. Might've run more if it had been a little later in the day so that the sun wasn't beating down on me. The breeze is nice, but I don't like so much direct sun (in a sleeveless tank) and was having problems finding the "shady side of the street" in the middle of the day. But, it was a good day. My upper body workout was good and I hadn't seemed to lose any strength in the time away.

    Have a great Saturday!

    Beautiful avatar, Laura!

Sherry, yes, that's quite possible. While I also feel like I've done something after a tough pilates routine, it's just not the same feeling of accomplishment as after HIIT. Ah well, Wednesday I have my PT appointment. Sounds like you got a good workout in today!

I'm getting back on track with my eating now, last week wasn't good. I went over my calories on three days (as in well over maintenance) and it's like all the weight is back on. I've already realised that losing only a little weight can be much more frustrating than losing a lot of weight since there's so little leeway :/ Did my pilates today and am starting to feel like my strength distribution within my body is weird  There was one exercise I could not do at all on one side and barely on the other one, and she didn't comment on it at all, but then again there were a few others that I thought were easily doable and she commented on how tough those are and gave suggestions on how to make them easier.

    Have a great Saturday everyone!

Had a nice day! Went to the fitness studio this morning and did an hour workout class. Then came home and did the absolutely necessary housework. After that, the weather was so nice, the dogs and I went geocaching for 4.5 hours. Only found three since they were so far from each other and then walked home. I probably shouldn't have walked so much when I want to run a half marathon tomorrow, but we just don't get too many of these beautiful Spring days and so soon it will be hot and humid summer!

Hope that you all had as much fun!

Hi everybody. Read all of yesterday & today's posts but my brain is too tired to respond to anything. It's been a long couple of days, but good ones.

Got up early yesterday, got in 20 minutes on the elliptical & worked out with my trainer (shoulders/obliques). Went home, cleaned up quick, drove over to my parents' house, and jumped on their ride to Michigan. We had about an hour to spend in town before needing to head out to the wedding. The wedding was beautiful. (My current profile photo is me with my niece, the bride.) Got back to the hotel & crashed. Woke up at 5:00 this morning and by 6:00 was out for my run. The trail by my hotel was wonderful. Had to stop a few times to take photos! But my 10 miles went well. Showered & went to breakfast with a couple of my cousins, then had some time to kill before I picked up my parents (they had breakfast with friends) so I just read in my hotel room. We made a few stops on the way home, including a little Finnish gift shop (my ancestry is Finnish on both sides of the family) and lunch. Stopped at my sister's to see wedding photos (they hooked up the camera to the TV), then to the store, and finally got home at 6:30. I unpacked before I let myself sit down & have got laundry going now.
