Autism Mini Grant for Pool

I applied for an autism mini grant through the State of Pennsylvania. One of the things that I asked for was a membership to the local community pool. I was given a check for $180 toward the membership! That means that along with my morning swim at my usual pool where I don't have privileges for the kids, I will be able to swim with them at the outdoor pool. I am thinking it will be fun.
And since my son has a lot of weigh issues, it will be super for him and of course, interacting with the other kids there will be positive (I hope).

That sounds wonderful! I hope you and your son have a great time in the outdoor pool. I have a son with autism as well. He just loves water and is a self taught swimmer0
