What Counts?

Are we only counting running/walking, or do we also count elliptical, bike, etc,? I haven't input the others yet, but I did some at the gym this morning for cardio and was wondering.

I personally am doing walking, jogging and swimming. Swimming is harder for me to get miles but it is fun lol. I don't see why elliptical would be a problem but the biking might be. I can bike 10 miles without much effort....I would say use personal judgement. We want this to challenge us to do more and better. So if biking is that for you use it. As long as your pushing yourself I personally don't care!!

It's easier for me to walk or jog than bike. I can cover more ground in less time, but it kills my legs and rear. Of course I'm not taking a leisurely stroll either; keeping my heart rate at 80%.

I feel like this challenge is about bettering yourself personally. Moving is moving. I'm counting any machines at the gym - bike, elliptical. I don't use the treadmill yet because it intimidates me. I'm also counting any walks over 15 minutes outside of the gym. I don't care about winning against other people, just getting there for myself. It's a personal challenge for me.
