Non-run days

When will it be ok for me to start walking on non-running days? I am at W7D1 tomorrow. I don't own a bike or have a gym membership, so swimming and biking are out of play for me as far as cross training goes. I'm going to start strength training, but I'll admit, I'm a bit of a cardio junkie now, lol.

Sure! I walked 3 miles at the dog park on rest days (if I wasn't working that day at least). Any form of XT is fine as long as it is low impact.0

I danced Zumba on XT days. I'm training for a half starting today. Zumba is still my XT of choice.
Adding strength is good, btw. It is important to strengthen your muscles to be a better runner0
