I am so excited! Things seem to be rolling along, though I am sure there will be set backs! I had another information session with a new Surgeon last night. He was very informative, does not have a huge program fee, takes my insurance, etc! I was able to get a consult with him tomorrow afternoon!!!!!
I also called my insurance company again because I wanted to see about my 20% for the hospital and such, because the hospital told me that it has to be paid up front. Turns out that I only have to meet a $2000 out of pocket max, and then everything is covered at 100%!! That means my max out of pocket for insurance is $1100!
I am still working on finding a Nut and psych that will take my insurance, but worst case scenario I will pay that OOP. I am so excited for my appointment tomorrow! The coordinator also thinks that we can do the 12 week supervised diet as well, so we will see!

When you see the surgeon ask if the nutritionist and psych are part of his/her team. Mine is along with the exercise specialist, so it was all wrapped into the cost and makes it very convenient to get all your support in one place.0

Congrats!! The center where my surgery was done had a nutritionist there however I did have to go elsewhere for the psych eval. They were able to provide me with several names to choose from. Hopefully your surgeon's office will be similar.0

Appointment went great today!! Today was day 1 of my Dr supervised diet! Dr agreed on the Sleeve for me, and also gave me a list of things to do before we submit to insurance. I have to get blood work done, signed off by my PCP, Pulmonologist (sleep apnea), and of course the Nut and Psych. The Dr did give me a list of people to check on, and there is a clinic in Lakeland that has both the Nut and Psych in the same place, and they take my insurance!!!! : - )
