I work in an office all day, up and down but nothing major. I haven not started exercising but I am going to start walking. I need to know how to figure out how many calories I am suppose to eat? Too low is bad and too high wont give me results can anyone help...If I choose sedentary on here it gives me like 1250 calories a day.

    When you set your goal, did you put to lose 2 lbs a week?

    I had put that (2 lbs) when I first started and I have a sit on my butt all day long job and had no plans to do much exercising until I lost a nice chunk of weight. I lost at first on 1450 calories and as you lose MFP re calculates, mine then dropped to 1250.
