Hello and help!!!

Hi, I've just started the south beach and I'm really struggling. I feel tired and weak, especially today (my 3rd). Is this normal? I can't seem to find out much and anything I've read is from ages ago. Is anybody else out there doing this? I've lost 50lbs on slimming world and then hit a plateau which I couldn't get out of, so I started sb in an attempt to kick start things again. I do feel like I've lost weight around my middle, which is where I was having a problem losing it after a while, but the lack of energy and tiredness is getting me down.

Sorry to moan, I'm normally a really happy, positive sort of person.....honest!!

Hi there! Make sure you're eating enough calories, AND enough carbs. Add a serving of beans to your diet while you're transitioning. Or, if you don't have a lot of cravings, skip to phase two and start reintroducing carbs.

But, if you're going to do phase 1, eat beans. Every day. They really do help. Pintos, lentils, black beans chickpeas... whatever phase 1 allows.

Again, make sure you're eating enough. Good luck!

Maybe you're coming down with something ?

No reason you should feel "weak" ......

If you ate lots of sugary stuff, breads, etc prior to starting SB, then it may take a few days to get used to the changes. If you feel hungry, then you eat ..... protein & veggies ..... and keep hydrated !

Congrats on your previous weight loss :drinker:
