I have a question.
Rule 4
"Do not eat nuts or seeds in the first two weeks"
Why then is this allowed seemingly in the Induction Phase:
Morning Snack
Day Break Almond Cranberry bar
Afternoon Snack
Advantage Chocolate Caramel Crunch bar
Full of almonds and peanuts.:sad: :noway:

My impression is that there is Old-School Atkins (which has better results) and new-school Atkins that is all about selling products and good PR, so it is a lot less restrictive. I heard from a lot of people to stay away from Atkins products for weight loss.
All that said, I think nuts are fine so long as you stay under 20 carbs for the day. Nuts add up in calories very quickly.0 -
I agree. I have tried the bars and then went about making my own. Lot cheaper and tastier and dare I say it more in line with Atkins philosphy.0
