This is only my second time doing Atkins within the last 6 years. I'm on day 7 of Induction, had the "Induction Flu", but still going strong. I think the reason I feel so determined this time is because of all the support others have received and I have been able to read about. The forums are great! Other people ask the very questions that I have and the experienced ones give invaluable information. Thanks to everyone for that!! I'm not out to just lose so I will look good for a particular event. I have been struggling to find a weight loss approach that I can stick to the rest of my life. I've researched the pros and the cons and decided the pros outweigh (pun!) the cons by quite a distance.
I was curious, though, to know how many people have made this a life-style for the long term and how they cope with the challenges.
Just wanted to give my numbers: weighed 209 on Monday morning - weighed 196.2 on Sunday morning. Wow, I really had alot of water to get rid of!!
