My suggestion: Pick a program you'd like to do for 4 weeks or 8 weeks and report in
Options could be:
1. C25K
2. 30 Day Shred
3. Ripped in 30
4. Any Fitness Blender Program
5. Beachbody
6. Insanity
7. Zumba
8. Stronglifts 5x5
9. Yoga
10. Pilates
11. PiYo
12.Any other that you know of...or would like to set for yourself

Alright, I'm in. I started the C25K last week and I'm on W1D3 now. So my goal is to complete Week 5 of the program in July and the entire program in 8 weeks. I'll keep updating my progress here.0

I'm on Day 9 of Fitness Blender 8 Week Fat Loss program for Busy People. I shall complete week 7 by July end; extending only 1 week into August.
Still undecided about what to do in August; but I am thinking of the 30 DS. I wanted to combine it with C25K; because both programs are for 3 days a week; but unsure of walking/running in the monsoon.0 -

Hey jasneet... Back after almost fifteen days... Lower respiratory tract infection made almost impossible for me to excercise..... Nowbetter... Taking short walks again... Starting C25k this month... along with the target if cycling total 150 miles this month...0

Welcome back Naruto! glad you are doing better! Do take it easy.
I think the C25K program is so adaptable to our fitness levels. One can always just walk at a faster pace instead of running to ease the impact. I certainly plan to do it next month after I finish my Fitness Blender program.

My challenge would be to run 5 K in under 30 mins on treadmill , bench press 35 kgs and deadlift 60 kgs...Lets see if I can do it!!All the best to everyone!

First day of July! Completed W1D3 of C25K. Ran/walked a total of 1.9 miles. I'll be doing the 30DS on my rest days.0

@Jasneet: Will keep reporting my progress everyday. Still need to see if this works out in the end.
Did Level 1 day 1 of JM's 30DS. It was tough and I had to stop twice to catch my breath, but on the whole it was quite doable. I can see this getting much easier by day 4-5. I'll be doing this on alternate days only, so I expect to get through levels 1 and 2 by the end of the month. Back to C25K tomorrow.0 -
@fitmiks thankfully things better with time and practice.. when i started working out in April, i could just manage 5 jumping jacks before being totally out of breath! today i did 50 of them! super happy with myself! :bigsmile:

Hi jasneet and fitmiks, Can i join in !? I would love to share my workouts with u guys. it will make me more accountable i hope.. I am greeshma, from chennai. Attempted and failed on multiple occasions to lose some weight . this time around, it feels different and the past one month has been great. I managed to lose around 2 kgs. I mostly did only walking and 30 days squat challenge (half way done).
today i started off with day 1 of level 1 of 30DS. I have attempted the 30DS before too, but never got past Level 1. Planning to work out 6 days a week with one rest day. I will also try to incorporate minimum 30 mins walking daily. Btw, You ppl are doing great..0 -

Today I took a break from working out, mostly because it's the 4th of July and everyone is home for the long weekend. Also my knees have been acting up after my run yesterday. Back to C25K tomorrow.0 -

Did my 2nd day of 30DS yday.. it feels really great after completing every session. i hope i can stick with it.. today being sunday is a rest day. I managed to do some walking though .

@Jasneet LOL! Don't feel bad. My little one woke me up 2-3 times last night, and even though I woke up at 5:30am, I was feeling too groggy to exercise, so didn't go for my run. Hopefully I will motivate myself to get it done this evening.0

@fitmiks! ouch that doesnt sound too good either! we had such chaos at home in order to get ready in time, it was so funny! but maybe i should count that running around as a workout too! hehehehe
thankfully my workout plan has 2 rest days in a week: 1 day of light stretching and 1 day of rest. So I am still on track! :bigsmile:
I completed workout #21 today. I really need to work on my shoulder and arm strength..any ideas?0 -
C25k W2 done. I found a running buddy! To help her catch up I will repeat w2d3 on Friday, then begin week 3.
@Jasneet: Long ago when I was more motivated I had a trainer who used to make me do bench presses and lateral raises for my upper arms and shoulders. That might help you.0 -

W3d1 done. Running for 3 minutes straight was more of a mental challenge than a physical one but I made it. Hopefully the rest of the week will be easier. How's everyone else doing?0
