Working long hours

I work 12 hour shifts and am exhausted by the time I get home and its late and still have a family to take care of as well. Since my 12 hours are only 2-3 days a week..should I just call those "rest days" and work harder on the other days?

    Just my humble opinion but I think that has to be a personal choice based on how you feel those days where you pull 12 hours. If you just don't feel like you have the energy to really get the best out of a workout then it may be best to skip it and just concentrate on you food for those days and make sure you are getting healthy choices and staying in your goals. On the other days when you have the energy would be a great time to get in a good workout and get a good sweat going. This still has you working out more than 1/2 the week.
