Is it normal to feel weak so close to the end of Induction and if I decide to stay in Induction, will I continue to feel this way?

I think that feeling is pretty normal first couple of weeks. It says so in the The New Atkins for the New You book. Actually advises against strenuous activity while your body is switching from burning glycogen to fat.
Maybe your electrolytes are off. Try some boullion broth or homemade bone broth with sea salt. Or use a good sea salt on your food. Induction has such a diuretic effect, it leaches sodium from you, and many folks get cramps. If none of this helps, get a magnesium and potassium supplement in addition the sea salt.
btw, I suggest sea salt because it has lots of different trace minerals, not just sodium and potassium chloride.0 -
Thanks for the info on sea salt. Yes I have been feeling some leg muscle cramps and I did lose quite a bit of water weight in week 1. I think it was about 13 or 14 lbs!0

Thanks! The weight loss has slowed down quite a bit, but I'm not concerned and figure it's to be expected. I went out to eat tonite for the first time since induction and was proud of myself for staying with induction foods in a Mexican restaurant! Taco Salad with out the shell. I am so thankful I found these forums on low carb, it has helped me get over the humps and keep on going!!:happy:0
