Ladies,
Okay, so here is the problem. I have been losing inches more in my lower body. Hips and thighs. Stomach and butt. However, I am not losing in the boobs. In fact, I've never been really small. When I was at a normal weight, I was about a 36C-36D. However, When I gained weight, I have been about a 44-16DD. Now I'm at a 40, but since the breast tissue is still all there, I'm at a 40G! "Depending even a 38H! The more weight I lose, the cup size goes up!
I assume I lose a lot in my lower body because of walking and the bike. My upper body exercise and fat loss has lowered the ribcage measurement, but the actual tissue, no. Since I never got the hang of twirling tassels, let's face it, there are no exercises for the girls!
Anybody else finding this a problem? It is making me feel really out of proportion. Those who have lost their weight already, did you find this and it end up evening out?

i can't really help on this one - other than offering to take some of that cup size from you :blushing:
but, i think i HAVE lost a cup size on my back boobs. That count?
hopefully one of our well endowed members (which does not include little 'ole me) will be able to give you a better answer....0 -
Gee, Charlie, I always belonged to IBTC (Itty Bitty Titty Committe). I understand that you don't like the buxomness but to be honest, with the losses in your other areas, you sound very well proportioned;
I'm thinking like a Jane Mansfield kind of beauty. That's how I picture you.0 -
I'm not. Definitely feel that I'm too wide/big on top. At our age, they go to the side as much as "out." I definitely don't want a "push up!" Jane Mansfield, I'm not. How about Moms Mabley?0

I too wish I could help you Charlie but :grumble: I kept trying to think of ways to keep the girl's from shrinking. I understand you feeling out of proportion as I am too.....only the other way. I wish we could swap a little.
Do not worry too much about those cup sizes. They told me at Victoria's Secret the the same size in cups go higher the smaller the band.
When I was young, I told myself that the advantage of being small was that droop syndrome would not happen. Wrong! All this week, when I look in the mirror I start humming ¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪. Do your boobs hang low, do they wobble to and fro............
Bet you are all singing that now.

Charlie, I bet you look terrific. Even though I'm small in front on top, I fall to the side also. My back is broad so I have wear a big size in the band part . Not very attractive :-(
BVFun, you're funny. I used to think the same thing.... I was wrong.

Actually, Wanda, that is the problem. When the band size is larger, the cup size doesn't seem so out of proporation. Now, they just seem so much bigger because of the difference and especially with my hips smaller, too.
And, yes, I'm not thinking of that song...0 -
Well, I'm small. Always was. I did lose a good bit there when I lost all that weight. My back is narrow, I have boney shoulders.
The girls do droop.0 -
No solutions to offer but suffering from the same issue! Big is definitely not better!!! And lets not even talk about bra shopping....:(

You can't find anything for less than $60. Glad to know I'm not the only one. It is so frustrating that I'm not losing weight there like the lower body! In fact, it's funny. My lower body is so noticeably thinner, but not the top! Ugggghhh!0

Da(*&?n!!! Now that song is running through my head. I will have to give you the same honorary doctorate I gave my dad a few years ago, Wanda -- Doctor of Dittology! He is the ditty emperor.
Charlie, I am just jealous that you lose in the hips and thighs so easily! For me, that is the last to go, and it feels just as out of proportion as the opposite problem, I'm sure. I am certainly a pear! I actually have to buy "bralets" and feel about 12 years old on top, but no 12 year old has the curves I still have below, for sure!
We all are doing great, no matter what order things go down. I suspect the last big bits standing will finally fall as well -- soldier on!0 -
I too am also well endowed in that department, and my bra measurment has gone from a 36 E or F (depends on style and where I buy from) to a 32 F. However, if you actually compare the size of a 32F cup to that of a 36F cup there is a big difference, so although it may seem that you have not lost weight there, you almost certainly have. The one advantage of having a good well fitting bra that gives you a nice outline, is that everything lower down is small by comparison :laugh:0

Okay, you guys are convincing me to just, deep breath, "let it go!"
By the way, one rule I have always lived by is: to look thinner (and younger) pull your bra straps up an inch or two!0
