    Hi, writing this for July 2, off to work so don't have time to fix pic and date!!

    Weather turned cloudy and rain is coming...not predicted but this is mountains....

    I will do something after work not sure what...weather suppose to be better later...

    I don't think we can actually fix the date in the header, but I'll write here too. Trainer session tonight - last one for a week since he'll be on vacation. I got a 2 hour massage last night (which was glorious).

    I don't know what I'm doing today. Yesterday I didn't run to the trainer workout. I was running late getting home from work and by the time I changed and fed the dogs, I would only have made it to the workout on foot by running as fast as I possibly could. Even that was risking being quite late. And it was 90+F out. So I drove. Got there 5 minutes early and spent 7 minutes on the stationary bike. After the workout I spent 8 minutes on the rowing machine going as fast as i could and decided that it was good enough.

    Today I just don't know. It's really hot and humid. Tomorrow will be a much nicer day. Since I don't have a dog class, if I get out of work on time I could go to the Metobolic Conditioning class tonight. Maybe I'll do that. I can add it as a fitness class to my work's Try-Tri thing. :)

    About time I checked in I guess. Our weekend away was nice, dh is well in his race....2nd place! It was a long day of standing around for me, he was just under 9 hours. Phew, it was hot too. Got back on Monday morning, and then Tuesday was a holiday here so I've been kind of off schedule.

    I didn't take any running clothes with me, but I did get quite a bit of walking in. Monday I ended up running 12K! First time in a long time that I have done anything more than 10. Yippe.....was very happy about that. My weight was up some on monday, but now has dropped to 1/2 lb lower than the day I left.

    Yesterday I did a JM killer buns & thigh workout and today ran 6K! So...thats about it. Looking forwrard to sitting with my book tonight.

    Yes, love today's thread starter. Just what I needed to read!

    Today, around 10am, I went to the five mile loop, but was terribly unprepared. I hadn't eaten since about 4pm the previous day and forgot to even take water. Unfortunately there's no shade on this loop that time of day. Anyway, I ran about half and walked about half. That's okay, I must've burned some fat on the walking part and besides it was a heckuvalot better than whT I've been doing! Got plenty of steps. And eating has been pretty good so far except for some sugary sodas that keep tempting me. Grrrr. I'll work the bugs out of the process little by little.
