Day two involved cleaning bathrooms. I really hate cleaning bathrooms and so I celebrated with ONE glass of red wine when I got them all cleaned. :bigsmile: Scale is heading in the right direction and my BP was 119/77 this morning. I am finally back in the normal range. This "get my life back in control" plan seems to be working.
Kim, you are great at getting zeros when you need them.

I've officially decided that drinking in the summer is way more prevalent than the winter. I would be in big trouble if I lived in a warmer state.
I've lost track this week, although yesterday was a zero.
It's been over a month since I've last exercised. So, yesterday, I went to a new class - 30 min. of spinning and 30 min of strength. To top it off, the half marathon that I was supposed to be motivated by - I've changed to the 5K. LOSER!! :blushing:
Anyway, warrior dash is on Saturday which I am not prepared for either.0 -

Plus a work out each day as well, today's was late but I did it. Not sure what tomorrow holds but we're going to a concert Saturday and tailgating during the day so tomorrow should be low key. Going to try and keep things in moderation on Saturday. It's been feeling good getting 0's and working out.

Bridget-Len and I went to have a drink last friday at the brewpub and I wasn't really feeling a beer so I had their homemade root beer with the vanilla vodka, soooooo good!!!!!!!!!

Friday - split a bottle of wine with husband at dinner, though he drank most of it because I didn't like it. Then we moved over to the bar and I had a beer, glass of wine and a martini our buddy at the restaurant made me. Had water before bed and woke up feeling great
Saturday - Dave Matthews concert. Had a beer and two glasses of bubbly before and two 24oz beers at the venue. Got home had some water and feel great today too
I like the zeros but also like that I was able to moderate and avoid being hungover all weekend. Not sure what today has in store but it's sunny and hot so there could be beers, margs or just water.

Good for you Kat! That always seems to be my problem, if I do have zeros all week then I totally end up overdoing it on the weekend.

Between the broken toe and all the summer fun...I've totally lapsed on exercise and moderation.
The toe is finally feeling better enough to start up my workouts again...so that's my #1 goal for this week. Moderating on the booze would be good too...we'll see how that goes.0 -
I was moderate on Friday, had two beers at the restaurant with dinner, came home and mixed 8 oz of red with club soda to sip while catching up on the Leftovers and The Bridge season 2. Really liking both of those...
But Saturday went to my husband's show and it was a brewery and I had 5-had to try everything I guess, so I was too hungover to exercise Sunday and watched the World Cup and had a bloody mary and 3 beers. Tecate light is only 95 cals! that must be a seriously low alcohol content beer!0 -
Hi lushes - I did Warrior Dash on Saturday and worked a 12 yesterday. Went out for drinks with hubs afterward and had 3 flir-tinis which was probably more like 6. They poured the vodka for a very long time it seems. Then, because that wasn't enough, I had a Coor's light when I got home.

Very lushy weekend. We are having very warm weather. It is too hot to do much so I sit and drink.
I will attempt moderation and accomplishing my list agian this week. I did fine until Friday then I was back to my old self. I over did it yesterday and I don't feel all that great today. And did I mention it is hot?

So far a gloomy week. Heavy rain and some thunder last night which I adore, especially on a warm summer night Cloudy again today with the possibility of thunderstorms :happy: it's always nice relaxing and listening to the rain with a drink but...
