    Worked out last night, didn't have 1 drink...and was until my calorie goal for the day! Success!

    I'm trying out this new oil pill thing and hopefully it will help me drop some pounds! I've been hovering around the same weight for about 2 years, so I suppose that is ok...but I want to lose about 20 pounds cause I just feel blah.

    Cheers for it being Tuesday & I will have another 0 night & will workout tonight!

    I bought two new scales today both of which indicate I need to lose 15-20lbs to get to where I feel comfortable.

    With that said I just pushed hard during my work out and am feeling focused as ever :devil:

    Well, Saturday and Sunday just might be zeros because I seem to have a lower GI bleed. One frickin' thing after another. I just got over the bronchitis last week. This middle-age **** is for the birds.

    Hope it's nothing serious Kim!

    BTW great job on the zeros everyone! I am trying to moderate but we have been busy getting the house ready for our youngest son's wedding and reception which will be at the house. Working on the yard/painting all day works up a strong desire for a beverage and some chill time. We will see how I do tonight.

    I have picked up the exercise which feels good.

    last night I wanted a beer, then I wanted another

    Sunday=4 drinks
    Monday=2 drinks
    Tuesday=2 drinks

    Probably will split a bottle of wine 3 ways tonight, but will see if I stop there!

    So husband has been in a bad mood for a week and a half now, think he's finally dealing with everything about the little one :cry: He tried to tell me last week he wasn't in a bad mood but last night he finally realized that I know him well and he admitted to being in a bad mood. So he had some beers which of course made me want some wine AND we were watching shows on drinking which didn't help but....

    Monday - 0
    Tuesday - 0
    Wednesday - 0

    I held strong and now I just need to hold strong today. Looking forward to some wine tomorrow though. I figure four zeros is definitely good enough to consider the weekend fair game. However with that said tomorrow will also tell just how bad of a mood husband is in. All I can do is be here for him but I know how much it all hurts and just wish I could take the pain away :ohwell:

    Thurs - 0 - even tho hubs wants to go out for a glass of wine. I will try to stay strong.

    Hi all,
    I am dizzy. its weird. Yesterday I felt really tired and I got a little dizzy a couple of times at work so I came home early. Went I got down on the ground to great Bodi the room started to seriously spin. It has been coming and going since then. It's like being really really drunk but without any drinking at all. It makes me a little nauseous. Needless to say I haven't had any beverages. If it isn't better by tomorrow I guess I will give in and go to the doctor.

    Kat, you are so strong, I know you will be a rock for your husband. Keep your head up and deal like the true champ you are.

    Have fun in Chi town Kim.

    Syd moderation isn't really all its cracked up to be so don't worry about it.

    Gary working on the yard deserves chill time.

    Amy we want what we want.

    Robin, good luck with that - make sure that you are drinking enough non-lushy fluids.

    My MD appt went well but I bought myself a ticket to the endoscopy labs. :cry: I just need to get it done~~

    We decided to leave early tomorrow morning instead of tonight. I am exhausted. My patient fell at work today.

    Hey Robin, yes busy here. Getting ready for our son's wedding and reception this Sunday. They will both take place at our house so much to do to prepare. Needless to say moderation is not first on my "to do" list.

    Friday - 3 beers, 3 vodka/diet dr. pepper drinks
    Saturday - probably about 7-8 beers...and 1 vodka/diet dr. pepper drink
    Sunday - 0, surprisingly.

    This week is my PMS week, and I am really fighting back my *****y-ness (sp?) this week. It will be a miracle if I can make it until Friday without any drinks at all!

    I need a weekend to recover from my weekend lol. But summer is awesome here...enjoying hanging out with my boys.
    Had a great time at the game Friday night...the husband and I went to a b-day party and drank and danced a ton on Sat....then a get together last night with family..the cousins all had fun.
    I need to find my exercise mojo again...and some moderation this week maybe? :drinker:

    Trying so hared to abstain but my fitbit says I have close to 500 cals left and a couple glasses of wine would certainly help with that. Oof. I don't feel like sweets anymore since I'm not pregnant so a cookie and milk are out...probably more fat and sugar in that than wine anyway. Already had dinner and am full, oh decisions.

    And thank you Mama Lush, I'm trying to just be here for him :heart: hope you stop feeling dizzy and such :ohwell: it's not fun when it's from drinking but even less fun when it's not from drinking.

    I had a lushy weekend camping-lots of summer shandy and bud light! I didn't count!

    Sunday=0 drinks
    Monday=0 drinks

    I will probably drink tomorrow and wednesday, though.

    And a question for the lushes, I know we have talked about it but if you have a drinking event planned for Sunday, is there anything you do to avoid a Monday hangover? I might take the morning off to sleep, it's about the only thing that really works! If it matters, we will be drinking beer so don't suggest sticking to vodka or something:tongue::drinker:

    Amy-the best way I avoid a hangover is to drink plenty of fluids. If I drink vodka, I make them with plenty of diet mixer (and drink lots of em :wink: ) For beer, drink water between beers, something to keep hydrated. Good luck and have fun!

    Amy, Yep, lots and lots of water. I do water and advil before I go to sleep and water and coffee when I wake up. It seems to help.

    I am plugging along. They took me off the dizzy making med and I am starting a new one tomorrow. I hope it doesn't have funky side effects.

    Bodi has stalled abit. He gets around fine but he is still very lame in his left hind leg. He wants to run and play so badly he just can't stand it. I am beginning to lose some hope that he will get much better. Only time will tell.

    and try to get as much sleep as possible.
    I felt really bad for the husband yesterday...he was hurtin' at work. He took a nap in his car during lunch lol.

    Been moderating with 1-2 glasses of wine every night. Managed to get some exercise in. No major plans for the rest of this week or the weekend...which is kind of nice...this ol body needs a rest.

    We finally got our summer temps and the A/C is on.

    Not so moderate this week but still within calories so there's that :indifferent: too much vino last night but heading up for a work out in a bit to sweat it out. Not sure if there will be wine tonight.

    Hi lushes...

    Just got back from my trip to Chicago. I spent most of it by Navy Pier and did the Rock-n-Roll 5K. Also, went to IN dunes with the kiddos. There was lots of activity and outside things to do which meant I was too exhausted to drink much.

    Sunday - one lushy night
    Monday - 2 beers, 2 rum drinks
    Tuesday - 0
    Wednesday - 0

    Bonus..down 2.8 lbs. this week
