    5100m.
Makes up for setting my alarm for 4:59 yesterday, hittting snooze, and deciding I was too tired to swim. :/

No swim yesterday. Woke up with mud back muscles so sore it hurt to breathe and stand up straight.
Hiking today if it clears up.

2400 m with fins, mostly 100m intervals on a pace time of 1:45 including rest.

My lane mates are normally faster than me, but today they were having trouble keeping up. Maybe losing 15 lbs has helped me??? Has anyone else had the same experience?

swimming sprints with fins will generally be faster than a paced 2400 swim.
    I can do a 1:35 100 yd sprint. But my 3000 pace is between 1:51 and 1:55 per 100yd.
My 500 with fins is around 1:40 because I'm focused on the ledges and not pulling hard with my arms.

We were all wearing fins so pretty much equal on that front.

5 miles. 2 days in a row. Just a smidge slower overall even though my first 3000 was faster.

I've been doing a repair job on the house after work that wiped out my swim time. Finally completed it Sunday. After over two weeks, got back in last night and had a very slow mile. It felt so good, even if it was grindingly slow.

    1500m with Adult Swim Club.
Normally we would get 1800-2100m. Restricted Pool Lanes today.

    200m Free warm up.

    15 sec RI between sets.
    Backstroke sets
50m Kick - board on knees to keep them down
50m One Arm - Alternate sides at 25m
50m Body Roll - kick only
50m BS Crown Balance - Balance a Pool Toy on your forehead - ensures stable head with Body Roll.
100m Free Long Reach and hold Glide
    Repeat above x 2

    50m Breast Slide drill
    50m Breast Pull
    50m Breast 3 second glide
    X 2

    4 x 100m Alternate Ascending/Descending sets

It was a bit of a challenge - normally we have 3 double lanes Fast, Medium and Slow.
Today the Bronze Cross Re-Certification had one double lane and the Learn to swim group had another double lane - so we were squeezed down into 2 single lanes which meant me and one other swimmer from the Medium group moved up to the fast to balance # of people per lane. So I had to work hard to not be a lane blocker and with the extra people it was crowded/restrictive, especially in a single wide lane. At least I didn't kick anyone during the Breast Stroke session.
