I have just read an article in Prevention ( a general one, not related to hypothyroidism ) in which it was recommended to take the following supplements daily:
1. for energy
1000 mg of Acetyl-L-Carnitine
200-400 mg of Alpha-lipoic acid
100-400 mg Rhodiola
2. for brain function
500 mg standardised extract of turmeric
Has anyone tried using them? Have you noticed any improvement? Have you used them in similar dosages? I would be thankful for any feedback.

I am hypothyroid and use ALA and Rhodiola. I like ALA because it seems to help with carbohydrate metabolism, 600 mg. I use Rhodiola as well, it seems to have improved my endurance, 300 mg. Both supplements have improved my energy levels and I take them daily.0

Thanks! I have decided to order ALC and Rhodiola first, ALA and turmeric next month. We will see whether anything positive happens.0
