Body Fat/Competition

My gym is having a contest for the next two months to see who will lose the most body fat. I currently weigh 132 and the last time I was measured my body fat was around 26. What would I need to do to get rid of body fat? Currently I work out 6 days a week for about an hour doing various conditioning exercises and I lift weights also. I take classes at the gym and work with a trainer once a week. I also do about 40 minutes of cardio about 3 or 4 days a week. Just curious if lowering body fat will also mean eating lots of broccoli and fish??? Thanks!!

Timing of meals is important. Any starchy carbs (rolled oats, quinoa, brown rice, sweet potatoes(yams)) put them around workouts. Fish is great but other lean meats are fine too (remove skin, visible fat before eating). Vegetables of the fibrous kind are good. Fruits, berries in particular good. Have some protein with each meal/ snack. Drink lots of water.0

You need to find a way to sustain an energy deficit.
