I'm having an affair...

...with my daily tablespoon's worth of Peter Pan crunchy peanut butter on a celery stalk that I have for my afternoon snack.

At only 103 calories and a mere 3grams of carbs, this has become my NON-guilty pleasure. Ohhhh, I could write a sonnet! Feels like I'm cheating...not on my diet...on my husband! :blushing:

  • My absolute favorite, healthy or not, comes out of my garden. Slice a tomato and lightly sprinkle with super thin slivers of fresh basil and garlic. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Drop the olive oil and you can munch it til you can't hold any more. Great for days you need to eat your feelings.
  • Ummmm, that sounds good. I could almost smell the herbs! I also enjoy sliced garden tomato -- with a slice of swiss cheese, salt/pepper, and parsley flakes. Yummers!

    Ok AllMyUserNames,

You incited me to pull out the tomato at dinner time!

George foreman 4 ounce grilled chicken breast (lightly brushed with olive oil and seasoned with garlic, cayenne, rosemary, salt/pepper, and parsley flakes), topped with 2 ounces of beautiful beefsteak tomato which was further topped by a slice of swiss cheese, which was ALSO topped with 1/4 cup of chopped green onion.....all on a bed of two cups fresh baby spinach (garnished merely by a squeeze of a lemon wedge). A very filling meal mind you, at only 350 calories!

:::Ask me why I heard Barry White music playing in my head when I sat down to dine?::

Thanks for bringing up our trusty healthy garnish -- the tomato!
