Hi There! Heel pain, anyone?

Hey gals! It doesn't seem like I have known you all for just a day now. It is nice to have a like minded group to motivate myself. I have a problem which is becoming a hurdle in my way to lose weight. I never thought I would shoot up to 100 Kg and got the shocker of my life yesterday. Now, the most effective exercise I find is brisk walking and it helped me in past to keep my weight in check. But ever since my delivery 3 yrs back, I have this severe pain in heels, which doesn't let me walk brisk and for long too. I know that it can come in control if I shed some weight- so it is like a yo-yo situation...I can't lose weight and can't walk and vice versa. Can anyone suggest another better exercise to at least flex a bit and cut down the weight to be able to bring the pain in control and get back to walking?

Floor exercises.....crunches , push ups , yoga ......I started with all those since I used to get calf pain. Also , what are the shoes you are using while walking? Use cushioned soles and proper shoes.
