This is my first image post on MFP. I pass this house on most of my rides... it's in Buford, GA.0 -
This picture is of a road called Sun Valley Parkway. The road looks like this for about 30 miles, huge shoulders to ride on and very little to no traffic. The whole length of this road was planned to be developed to rival Mesa, AZ one of the largest communities in the Phoenix area. This big road was made to accommodate that idea. Many other infrastructures were put such as electrical and cable tv etc in anticipation for this growth. The project never took off and just about all plans for this area were abandoned. The main developer was caught up in some scandal or something, and the crash of the economy back about ten years ago pretty much left this road desolate. Left a nice road for us bikers though.

There are some really impressive photos on here. That photo of the storm clouds is really nice. That "Abandoned" road would be really nice to bike on. Wish we had one of those here. I like that house in Georgia. All really nice photos. Glad I'm not judging them. :-)0

This is what rest day looks like. Break 'em down and clean 'em up. Like the good bible says, "Cleanliness is next to roadliness."

There are some really great photo's posted...I'm sure it will be hard to judge! :noway:
I wouldn't consider my pic's TDF-ish, but I'd thought I'd share some more at any rate.

The posts are awesome... no wonder people love to ride! I'm posting a photo taken this evening along my normal route, it's a simply barn on a country road.0
