Great job week one everyone! I know we did not all have the week we wanted to (blaming holiday)...but this is a new start, as is every day, every hour, every moment. That is what I am working on this week....if I have a bad meal, bad workout, bad snack, bad mood...you can restart your day as many times as you want. This the number one way that I sabotage myself...I wait for the next day, the next Monday, the next meal ......and it can take me down hard! So....my focus for the week will be to remember I can RESET and RESTART in an instant.
Anyone else have any positive thoughts? Have a great week!!

Laura - Great post! You can't be more correct in that one bad meal doesn't mean you fall off the wagon. You can quickly get right back on the next meal. There is NO reason to wait until the next Monday or the next month. Have your bad meal then quickly go back to eating healthy. And no matter what, LOG YOUR FOOD! You should be logging everything you eat, regardless of whether its a 3000+ calorie day or a 1500 calorie day. As Heidi mentioned in one of her posts, it MIGHT deter you from eating that extra cookie or drinking that extra beer!
I had a good week despite the 4th of July. Even on that day, I logged everything and decided against certain foods to allow me to drink an extra beer or two. :-) I have been putting in some hard workouts so I'm anxious to see if the scale shows any loss. My clothes unquestionably fit me better than they did three weeks ago which is allI really care about at this point,. But nevertheless, this is the kickstart I needed. I'm excited that others are keeping up!! Love you all!0 -
After a day on the lake, everyone came back to the house and ordered a crazy amount of pizza . . . Since I am know gluten free - I ordered a antipasto salad and thought it would be torture watching everyone eat - the amazing part was that I didn't even care and didn't even want it! woohoo!
(and I was probably the only one not in a carb coma an hour later)0
