Ruptured Ovarian Cyst - Symptoms & Recovery time?

Hi Friends....I was missing most of last week...because it was a holiday week but then I had horrible pain (trip to the ER, female "issues" followed, etc). Anyway... long story short: I believe I had a ruptured cyst. It must have ruptured, bled out and now, I feel mostly okay. Doc's office has had an ultrasound scheduled for me since a month before this happened. The hospital told me to call them and have an ultrasound scheduled right away... Doc's office hasn't called back today...they don't seem concerned. I feel pretty normal... Should I just not worry about it? Ultrasound - as it stands now - is not scheduled until August.
Oh..one other thing... could this have happened because I started exercising again - i.e. doing something more than just walking.? I started to feel great...then my feet got worse, then this happened.
