I had a cortisone shot in my knee yesterday and my B/G levels are up about 35%. Is this normal and if so how long will this last?
I have been consistently under 115 for the last several months. now my levels have been in the 160's

Hey Alsvic,
I'm not a Doctor, but I just got a Cortisone shot in my shoulder, last week. It didn't affect my blood sugars, but I was warned (ahead of time) that it could. My Endo said that some people do react and others don't. I got mixed information as to how long it would last. The Pain Doctor said it can last up to 2-3 days. The Endo said it can last as long as a week. If you have an Endo, you might want to call the Nurse and see if they have any suggestions for the higher numbers.
