I need to get caught up here I guess. Another weekend over, well I guess not technically...it is only Sunday morning. But the hardest part of any weekend for me is always Saturday. We went out to dinner last night, I had clams/scallops and a side salad. No wine at all...which I often will have on Saturdays. We went to a friends place on Thurs night and had a campfire and I think I had all the wine I want for a while. Lol
Friday I got out for a bike ride, first one for the summer. Saturday I ran 7K.....it was quite hot, should be better today. I'll probably go this afternoon.0 -
Yesterday was kind of a play day. I got my run in early, did nothing productive around the house for a couple hours, got the oil changed in my car, then headed up to the lake where my cousin has a cabin for the week. I was hoping to swim but it wasn't quite warm enough for me to be willing to get in the lake. I stopped at the grocery store, then when I got home I ran the dishwasher and started my laundry.
Woke up this morning in a more productive mood. By 9:00 I had washed the rest of my laundry & had it all hung on the clothes line, unloaded the dishwasher, emptied & cleaned my refrigerator (which was bad), got spare ribs & BBQ sauce started in the crock pot, and hauled out the trash.
I have a little bit of homework to do at the gym today (hip exercises) & Jason wants me to get on the bike. There's a major road construction project going on in town the way I typically drive to the gym, so I might just walk to the gym instead of driving so I can get some steps in. It's supposed to be cool today (around 70) and sunny, which is perfect for a walk.

Had a very ambitious day yesterday, then had a terrible night's sleep. Ugh. Today it's a zillion degrees and humid--I'm not feeling it today.
Goal Report SATURDAY:
Minus: Prepare healthy meals & snacks in advance so it’s EASY to make healthy choices. Unexpectedly went out to lunch with hubs yesterday and he chose a delicious BBQ place.
Check: Guzzle loads of water
Check plus: Reach my 8k step goal EVERY day.
Check: No fast food
Check plus: Eat 5 fruits/veggies a day. Watermelon is my new BFF. Oh, and cherries0 -

Now got to figure out whats for supper.0 -
Rest day from gym. (Also t.o.m.) Today went from rainy to hot, humid; so I walked 4mi on the treadmill. Basically feeling very blah today.:frown:0
