Hi everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself
I am an old timer Atkins wise and did well lost over 70 pounds but then totally lost the plot food wise and my health was giving me problems. After much soul searching and research, plus long chats with loved ones I decided to have Bariatric surgery. I spoke to my GP but even with mobility issues and pain due to joint problems we couldn't secure funding, all the NHS could do was give me a shiny wheelchair!
After raiding savings I had my op in November 2013, I lost almost 6 stone but it is creeping up again due to not following the low carb, so I AM BACK to ATKINS! Planning to start on Monday.
Writing up a weeks menu etc so setting up on the forum for support and help, just wanted to say hi.... we're all fighting the flab together, so look forward to getting to know people. :happy:
