Been thinking of making a positive change for years, even tried going along to Weight Watchers etc with the wife but kept coming up with excuses. I started suffering back pain about a year ago, tried blaming it on work travel etc but in reality I'm around 2 feet too short for my current weight.

So, been trying this in earnest for about 3 weeks so far and lost about 13lbs to date (only about another 130 to go!), TBH I'm actually enjoying it. Been out on my rusty old mountain bike a few times and have gone from almost collapsing after about 2 miles to clocking up my first 10 mile ride in about two weeks too!

I thought I'd put it out there to make it official, this time I really hope I can keep going and not drop out after a few weeks.

Please Feel free to friend me etc as any support or additional bullying to keep at it would be really appreciated.
