A good vet visit

Dr G came out to check on Chico. His leg will still take time to heal but no new proud flesh, nothing he needed to scrape away. Even starting to get some nice healthy looking pink skin. Still a big wound, still putting steroid powder on it that vet gave me. When that is all gone he said to use an over the counter steroid cream like hydrocortizone mixed with neosporin. I hope we stay on the right track. I am spending a small fortune on gauze pads, bandages and vet wrap.
I also remembered to talk to him about Scout. He said at at 170 he should just have light workout, walking around is okay.
150 in order to start trotting and hard work.
So Me + Tack has to be under 150. I'm getting there. I will just keep walking and working on our steering and stopping for now.
