!!HELP!! in so confused!

Hey everyone. I'm new to the whole iifym stuff. My friend read about it and has lost 60 lbs while building tons on muscle. A little lost at figuring out exactly what counts I need to be eating a day. I'm 30 with 28% body fat and 5'3. I've read several things and now I'm just confused! Thanks for any help given.
