Hi everyone I'm new to this group. I've decided I need to get the sleeve. I got my referral letter from my Dr. I need to make an appointment. Now I need to decide if I should get health insurance and wait the 12 months or try and self fund the sleeve myself.


What did everyone else do ?

    I would suggest getting the insurance. While complications are unlikely, they exist and do happen.

    The surgery is expensive. Use health insurance if possible!

    Since Im in Canada, I dont know how all that works down there. I do think having insurance would probably be a good idea surgery or no surgery if you can afford it.
