Does anybody else get fatigued and slow witted on MFP's calorie level recommendation? It recommended 1710 cals a day for me at sedentary lifestyle, not including workouts. I do weights two or three times a week for 1 hour and run twice a week for 20 minutes. It went ok for about two weeks but now I just can't sustain it due to fatigue and mental fogginess so I'm going to increase by 200 cals. Does that sound about right? I wanted to feel good and get stronger! not suffer just so I can look a certain way.

I am 48 years old, 160lbs and about 15-17% bf. want to get down to 10%

If you are using mfp to dictate your intake, you should be eating back calories burned during exercise.

They being said, yes fatigue can be caused by low energy intake or low carb intake.

In addition to SideSteel's comment above re exercise, what are you settings at? How much did you set it to lose and what activity level did you enter?
