I've given in early this morning. I had some donut holes this morning with my coffee. I can only deny myself so long. I don't regret it though, I believe in indulging on occasions. The rest of the day will be centered around protein and complex carbs. You ladies keep me wanting to do better, thank you for that!0

Morning! I got to sleep in till 7:30 which is amazing. Fiance made breakfast - 2 sausage patties, 1 pancake. I said no to a second one and chose to put jam on it without butter and no syrup. So I would call that a good start to the day.
At noon we have a 2.5 hour drive to a hog roast to see an old friend of mine. We'll come back late tonight. I hope I make good choices but at the same time I'm also not going to deny myself. I want to make habits I will keep and like.
Until noon we are cleaning! Must kill allergens. I am spiteful against the previous owners - I've lived in a lot of places and never in one as allergy filled and dusty as this. One day I'll be able to breathe properly, I hope...0 -
I'm sitting on the beach in michigan right now! Very beautiful. Got my run in this morning and have reached 10,000 steps today! I feel like I had a good week. Tomorrow is my rest day so I have nothing planned but to enjoy my last day off.
Breakfast was a cliff bar, lunch was a veggie burger with pepper jack cheese and homemade fries. Dinner was a beach burrito in grand haven michigan... yum!
We were in the car 2 hours, felt like forever. I'm gonna enjoy the rest of my evening. I'll check back tomorrow.0 -
It was a headache day, so I've been kind of off the entire day. However, I did well with my water and my calories all day.
Until dinner. My daughter made homemade cake batter ice cream. I only had 3/4 C, but it was enough to put me over.
I've also got swollen ankles this evening. So if I happen to not lose weight when I weigh in Monday morning, I'm announcing right now that I'll be blaming it on water retention!! LOL0 -
Got to do a fair amount of work this weekend, which means more sitting than I'd like (job work, not house work). I'd like to be able to check a bunch of things off my list, but I don't think it's going to happen.
Food-wise, I was good yesterday and today. Even managed to fit in a white russian this evening - chocolate milk for grown ups! Tomorrow I'm aiming for three more hours of sitting at a desk doing work, then my bf and I are driving to NYC to have brunch with his family. Gonna eat a lot! So have to plan accordingly. Not sure where I'll squeeze in a workout, but gonna do it!

It was almost 10am when I woke up...had an egg for breakfast, as usual (for the last two months). I made some green tea...trying desperately to stay away from the 3-in-1 hazelnut coffee...I am a huge coffee addict so it's really hard for me. I have for awhile now switched to coffee with lower calories, but the 3-in-1 still haunts me. I should get rid of it, but I can't bring myself to toss perfectly good coffee into the trash.
I rode the stationary bike for 50 minutes while talking on the phone and then reading on my ipad before lunch. It was a nice way to burn some extra calories - I want to make my own fitdesk.
I will try to do some exercise video in the afternoon but I am not feeling particularly motivated today, and it's actually my off day - so might just enjoy some trashy romance novel on the bed.0 -
For the most part it has been a good week. Just got started but manage to stay within my calories everyday but my first. I got to say I was really worried about having 3 days off and keeping myself on top of everything. Also starting to incorporate exercise back into my routine. Walked both Saturday and this morning(a bit sore in the hips but trying to stretch it out). Just need to work on planning my meals out for the week. Hoping to have a better week 2!:happy:0

Had a fun, busy day yesterday! Kayaked 5.26 miles. Ate the bulk of my calories at dinner (makes sense to me, after kayaking.) I missed lunch yesterday because I got out of bed so late, but I only ate a small breakfast before going out. My miles kept getting slower, I should have eaten more than I did before going out.
Today I had planned on a short paddle with a friend and a small hike, but so far we are being rained out, hopefully it'll clear up later so we can at least hike! Until we get lunch together, I'm back to the books (I go to university as well)

Today is nice, not that hot. Last night we were at the beach at hoffmaster state park, today on grand haven. The water is pretty cold!!
There is a car show in grand haven so we looked around and had some lunch.
Breakfast was a yogurt, lunch was a egg sandwich with bacon n hashbrowns n Swiss cheese. Dinner is unplanned, not sure what time were heading home yet.
Tomorrow I go back to work. Glad to see everyone is having a good weekend.0 -
It's Sunday and I have finished an awesome workout. Besides the donuts this weekend I did very well. I got lots of rest. I'm about to go grocery shopping so I can meal prep for the upcoming week! Hope everyone is doing good!0

Today started out with a migraine, so I wasn't too hopeful. But after hydrating and eating a bowl of oatmeal with some juice this morning, things started looking up. I spent an hour cleaning house, went grocery shopping, and because I had a very small snack instead of lunch, I'll be enjoying pizza and a piece of pie for dinner and I'll still be under my calorie goal for the day! Sweet!0

Went over my calories yesterday (knew I would with the hog roast). I think the most disappointing thing is that we ended up stopping for fast food and the items I thought would be healthy or less unhealthy were higher calorie than some of others I thought were worse! Oh well, it is what it is.
Today, I'm on the edge. Breakfast was made by the fiance again - whole grain pancakes (no syrup, butter, or jam) and sausage. Lunch was left over small tacos. Dinner will be brats, noodles & cheese, and chips. I really wanted dip with the chips but he's convinced me to not buy dip...
We dropped by the county fair and walked around for awhile. And then, today we've been cleaning as well. We found our our air ducts some how have air from the outside coming in. And we have this weed-burr-plant growing in the yard. So, more fun work to be had in the future.0 -
Well, the weekend is just about wrapping up and I went over my calorie goals today, but not by too much. It's not too often I get to go out to lunch with a good friend! We were rained out for kayaking and hiking fell through, but I probably needed a rest day, 10 miles in 48 hours is a lot. I've already set my food aside for tomorrow and planning on going to the gym with the boyfriend before going to kickboxing! Going to start the week off strong!

Weedwacking needs to be an exercise. My forearms are hurting.
Only ate 1 brat at dinner and said no to seconds. Another good point for me, normally I have a hard time saying no to seconds. But, I wasn't hungry and so I didn't eat!
Technically I went over calories both days so probably won't lose weight this upcoming week, but I practiced good habits of tracking, say no to seconds, and asking for smalls purposely - thus it was a good weekend for me.

I haven't accomplished my goal of planning dinner! I plan it, and then when it comes time to eat dinner, then I eat something else and it's not as great of a choice as my original plan. Booooo. But at least I have planned, right?! LoL.0

Well for the past week I've been in Sitka, Alaska. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday my hubby and I walked all over town. Tried to eat healthy. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before the crack of dawn we were up and ready to go out fishing on a charter boat. Caught a lot of fish and had fun doing it. Friday evening the company treated us to a barbeque. They cooked rockfish, asparagus and rice. Never realized how hard some of those fish fight especially King. Good times.0
