I just started the 17 day diet on Monday so I am at day 3. I have already lost 8 lbs. I am guessing its mostly water weight, but as someone who has been overweight my whole life, it is making me hopeful.

    Hi Chad,

    I did this plan last July and lost 15 pounds the first 17 days :)
    I continued going strong and I lost 42 pounds. Then life happened.
    Got busy, got to comfortable, stared eating out with friends (which is fine) if I stayed with the right food choices.
    Then the loss of a loved one turned my life upside down :( needless to say I gained all my weight back.

    This is day 3 for me too Off to a GREAT start!
