    Woohoo! GOAL!
I neve made it to the gym oon Saturday but I did go out on my paddleboard with my friend's daughter to spread her ashes. Beautiful yet somber evening. I didn't even bother tracking my mileage.

But Sunday morning my husband had duped me into doing the "Tour de Redland". I don't ride in a group, so this would be my first time. There were two routes, one for 48 miles, the other for 30. I had agreed to 30. Well, he made me do the longer ride AND the pace line was 20-21mph. I had to cut the ride short, but I kept up with the group for over 30 miles and did 41 of the 48 miles averaging 17.8 mph :)

NOw hubby says he can kick up my training! :noway:

Still gaining on my goal a little at a time.

Added 6 miles yesterday. August total 89.25 miles

So if I can manage just uner 4.5 miles a day for the rest of the month, I'll make goal. Pretty sure I've got this (while refusing to look at calendar/reality. )

Managed to get a 6.0 mile bike ride in tonight. Was battling a little bug today and that was all the energy I could muster. Okay, it was either a bug or the karaoke & beer... :noway::bigsmile:

Looking to do more/better tomorrow.

CONGRATS to SPIKESMOM on making GOAAAAL!!! :drinker::drinker:

And my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your friend. What a touching memorial to spread her ashes on the water. :flowerforyou: I'm sure it meant a lot to her daughter as well. And also a FANTASTIC job on the Tour de Redland!! :drinker:

Well everyone....I finally got that karaoke & beer bug out of my system and I'm ready to switch back to beast mode today. I still have a fair amount of ground to make up to get back to green and it's time to start blowing that away. I think I have about 29 miles of catching-up to do on top of my regular 4 miles I have to do a day. Ready to get it!!! [BEASTMODE=ON]

I think I got my Beast Mode on too - 4 miles run/walk and 3.1 of them running without walking. My goal for my 5K next month is to do the whole thing without walking and in under 40 mins. Today was 37:45, first time I ran that far in a year. Did this after three hours sleep and a TRX class.

Thanks Dave  I think we need to find a beast mode smiley of some sort.

Now off to do a 4 hour "princess shift" - I just politely turned down their offer to stay for 12 hours without laughing.
