I got on to paleo in fits and starts. I found out about it maybe 6 months ago and thought that it was completely insane, how in the world would I give up bread?! But I had it in the back of my mind while I tried to lose weight through chronic cardio and ridiculous amounts of calorie restriction. Obviously that wasn't working for me. I started it in earnest about a month ago and I've lost 15 lbs so far. I am very happy with my results, never hungry, never tired, consistent weight/measurement loss. I didn't weigh myself in the beginning, I am assuming I was around 230 (that's where I was last time I checked). I need to get down to at least 170lbs to join the Air Force (though my real goal would be somewhere around 140), which is my main motivation for losing weight. I'm looking for people to keep me motivated and hold me accountable; maybe even help me with my wicked Starbucks addiction.

Welcome Tatya, we are a little slow around here on the weekends. I've been at this for about 9 months and if you need another friend I am sending an invite. Fell free to ask for help and we here will pitch in and help when you need it.0

Hi Tatya I am Joy I have been away from Paleo for a while but have decided it was the right path for me after all. I totally lost the paleo path in the past 2 months but thankfully came to the realisation that it is right for me. If you want to add me as a friend that is great but my diary over the past 2 weeks is definitely not paleo, I got sucked into herbalife by friends. This made me very ill and I realised paleo was the right path after all. I go on holiday in a week so see a lot of alcohol in my future but will stick with paleo as much as possible . When I am back I will be 100% paleo. Welcome to the best way of eating there is.0
