Hi everyone ,I am pre op for either the gastric bypass or the Duodenal switch.I am not certain what one yet and working on getting weight off for my insurance and the surgeon. So I would love friends doing the same also if anyone has had the DS can you tell me how that has been for you. Thanks a bunch

    Hi and Welcome: Good for making the decision to take back your health. I am 3.5 years post VSG. I have lost a total of 180lbs, regained 50 and lost 40 of that, just to give you an idea of what can happen. There is plenty to read and learn here. There is a great bunch of people at different stages of the journey. So read, ask questions and we will try to help you along the way. Good luck!!!
