On the elliptical right now as I write. Food: grilled pork loin, grilled chicken, brown rice, broccoli, shredz protein, banana, apple, grapes. Water: up early so the gallon will be easy. Today is a new day! Ready to smash this new challenge. Of course struggling with no pizza eating, but got it out my system, now ready to rock!

Just a thought - My father is diabetic but loves pizza so he and my mother make homemade "pizzas" either with all rye crusts or cauliflower crust, and then he' changes the size of the pizza, tomato and spices for a sauce, and updates the cheese to something he's recently researched. It is an extensive process but lets them keep their pizza-movie traditions. They like their own so much, even my mother no longer likes bought pizza. So maybe you can have pizza, just another version?

I am only mentioning this because it sounds like you cook a fair amount.

That's a great idea! PLUS you can put your favorite toppings, just a healthier version your way! :)

Good morning! I made dinner last night so I got my 1st home cooked meal done. I grilled chicken tenderloins marinated in zesty italian, with broccoli and noodles. I also got my 10,000 steps in and did yoga yesterday.

I was feeling a little ill this morning so I made a small jamba juice smoothie to drink on my way to work. I'm just about done with my 1st bottle of water, ate my evol breakfast burrito and yogurt. Lunch is a frozen evol meal and I brought a pear and an orange to snack on and some trail mix. I do better if I put the trail mix in a small container cuz if I bring the whole bag I will eat it all. I plan on doing yoga when I get home and go for a walk.

The pizza thing sounds great. My daughter made a pizza last week and it was so yummy!

Today I feel blah! Not sure why, but I think it may be the rainy weather.

Food-I've got one homemade meal done. Made chicken salad with greek yogurt, low fat mayo, cranberries, walnuts, and of course chicken. I've eaten it for lunch the past 2 days. Yum. Tonight I'm making zucchini taco boats with ground chicken.
Water-I'm slacking on water today; guess I should go refill my water botte
Exercise-did 30 minute of kickboxing last night and a 15 minute walk, tonight is a 30 minute cage fitness class, a walk, and maybe some lifting if I have time.

Day is going well. Glad I found ya'll as an accountability group! Even though I did have frozen yogurt last night I didn't go overboard and I didn't get any candy toppings...non scale victory for me!

Homemade food was breakfast - whole wheat bread, asparagus sauteed, and sunny side up egg as an open face sandwich thing. lol

Today was my day off. I didn't make it too far off cough though today - Doctor Who marathon killed me plus still very tired. I did move around though, house, yard work, shopping. Not as much as I do at work, but more movement than none.

Water was 50oz again. Drinking another 12oz as we speak.

Today stressed me out, I was stuck in ICU trying to figure out a problem with our blood gas machine, so I never got anything done I wanted to do. I was starving so I took a break and ate lunch. Then they had cake because one of the sisters are leaving to Indy, of course I had to have a piece... it went downhill from there. I started to have a headache after the cake. I drove home sleepy and pigged out on chips n salsa and then layed down. My daughter n the dog woke me up when she got home and my sister bought pizza. Had to have a piece which turned in to two. Now I feel like puking.

I did get my yoga in, but not my walk. It was a pretty intense yoga session tho. I'm at about 50 oz for water and have about 10 left in my cup. Not sure I can fit it in my tummy. 6,178 steps... just shy of my goal. I'll hafta get some extra steps the rest of the week. Goodnight everyone, happy tracking!
  • I cook all my meals at home, but I didn't make anything healthy. I made pancakes for breakfast (I only ate 2 small ones and I skipped the bacon) Lunch was bibimbop (a korean meal that's hard to explain, but it's healthy I promise lol). For dinner I made enchiladas, but I didn't have any with my family, instead I ate left overs from lunch. I didn't go to the gym today, but I took the kids swimming and did some laps then played with the kids. As for water, I drink nothing but water all day long, but I don't track it. I'm trying a lemon water challenge where at least one glass every day has fresh lemon in it. I also replaced my coffee with green tea.

It wasn't a terrible day, but I will do better tomorrow.
